You can also back up and restore your data using the export feature.
In the app's settings screen, tap "Data Backup/Restore".
Then tap "Export data" and tap "File Export".
An email screen will appear. Enter an email address in the recipient field and send the message.
Use an email address you can check on your new iPhone.
Next, work on the new iPhone.
Download SmartDiet on the new iPhone.
Open SmartDiet and add your first entry.
Then open the Mail app and open the email you just sent.
You should see an attachment with a name like "SmartDiet at 2018_12_25.csv".
Tap the file to open it. A table will appear; tap the button in the upper right.
Slide the row of icons to the left until you find the icon for copying to SmartDiet.
Tap it, then choose "Overwrite CSV data" in the SmartDiet app to complete the transfer.
